Wednesday, August 20, 2008 (1 Week Old)
Update on Gabriel Joseph - Ima Sleeping sent this latest news that little Gabriel
Joseph has been diagnosed with viral meningitis. According to what they
are told, the treatment is just for symptoms - healing takes place naturally.
He was doing better on Tuesday and may come out of intensive care
Tuesday or Wednesday. His breathing and eating have improved.
Please continue to pray for the baby boy and his family.

Prayer:
Father God in Heaven, we praise You for your care of us, and especially
the little ones who parents trust You completely. We give You all the
praise and glory for the improvements in little Gabriel's condition. We
know that we are only to ask and You will answer. We continue to pray for
this baby boy and ask only that You be glorified as he is restored to good
health. We don't question why, only that we know that this trial is in Your
will. In Your son's sweet name, Jesus, we ask. Amen

Gabriel Joseph - Please pray for little Gabriel Joseph, 1 week old, son of Adam
and Wendy M. Little Gabriel Joseph is the grandson of fellow cowboy action
shooters, Tangle Eye and Ima Sleeping, Ron & Paula, TN. After developing a
fever and loss of appetite, little Gabriel Joseph turned blue this morning alerting
Mom and Dad that hospitalization was their next step. Tests are currently being run
to determine the cause. Please pray that his recovery is a speedy one and that if a
cause cannot be determined, that he may be made completely well.
This entire family loves the Lord and trusts completely in Him as they endure this
trial. Updates to follow.

Friday, September 12, 2008 - Latest Update
Good News Regarding Gabriel
I am so happy to write and tell each of you that have been praying for
Gabriel that he is finally home with his parents and brothers. This little
fellow has had a rough start, but with the prayers of each of you he is
doing well.
He did have to visit the hospital once more since my last posting, but is
now finally home. Adam, Wendy and his grandparents are praising the
Lord for this blessing on Gabriel and his family.
Monday, August 25
PRAISE THE LORD SOME MORE !
Praise the Lord some more! Gabriel has been detached from all the wires
and tubes with the exception of a feeding tube. He is scheduled to be
moved back to a regular room this afternoon (as soon as one becomes
available). The staff tried to get him to nurse today but he fell asleep
instead. Grandpa said he guessed he’d fall asleep too if he got moved
from a box full of tubes and wires to his mother’s arms!
Gabriel is improving still. This isn’t completely over yet, but thanks for the
prayers so far!

Holy Father, thank you for touching this baby and his family in such a mighty
way. May all those that see the work of Your hand understand that by You and
You alone is this little one being restored to good health, and may You receive
all Glory and Praise. In You Precious Son's Name, Jesus. Amen
Thursday Morning, Auguest 21st
Update on Gabriel Joseph - 11 Days Old - Gabriel was slowing improving
until this morning (Thursday). The doctors noticed rapid eye movement
and now believe this indicates small seizures. They are currently
conducting tests to find out if this is true. He has also slowed down on the
amount of milk he is taking and seems to be sleeping more than he was or
should. They are positive of the viral meningitis diagnosis but now wonder
if something else is going on as well although these symptoms could be
caused by the meningitis also. Continue to pray both for Gabriel, his
parents (Adam and Wendy), and for those taking care of their other 3 boys.
