Pray for Mike H.

Please pray for Mike H. and his wife, Gina, and
daughter, Hannah.  Mike was diagnosed with
colon cancer back in March, 2009.  Immediately
upon his diagnosis, he underwent surgery to
remove his cancerous colon completely with
some reconstruction.  Unfortunately, he
developed a leak which caused a major
infection.  His doctors were hopeful that the leak
would seal on its own, but it did not and the
infection continued accompanied by much pain.
This past week Mike had to undergo more surgery when the leak, infection and severe pain
returned.  Last Tuesday's (7-13-09) surgery seems to have remedied the problem and with God's
help, Mike was able to go home today!  Praise be to God.

Please pray that Mike will regain his strength and can endure the treatments over the next several
months, ultimately restoring Mike to good health.

Also, pray that Mike will be able to keep his spirits up as he and his family walk through this trial
together.  May God be glorified in all that Mike has endured and will endure on his road to recovery.

Mike, Gina and Hannah have a strong faith in our Lord and are trusting Him through this ordeal.
